InRelease 2.6 just released!
We are excited to announce the InRelease 2.6 release which brings significant maintenance improvements.
InRelease Web Client
InRelease 2.6 introduces the InRelease Web Client. This Web client allows business approvers to approve or reject release requests via their browser using a simplified interface tailored to their specific interactions with InRelease. This also means that they will no longer need to install the WPF client on their machine, reducing the workload during installation and maintenance of InRelease. Furthermore, in order to have a seamless integration with Visual Studio and TFS, the InRelease Web Client user interface has been aligned with the one from the web portal of Visual Studio/TFS vNext.

Automatic clean-up
Another important feature added to this release is the Automatic clean-up of the InRelease Deployers’ deployment folders. No more manual cleaning to save disk space! This Automatic clean-up is configurable; you will be able to choose how long to keep those deployment folders (sometimes needed to debug deployments) and the frequency at which the clean up happens.
Centralized Deployer Settings
Deployer configuration settings have now been centralized and are available directly from the InRelease WPF Client. Look for the new tab called Deployer Settings in the System Settings page. Improving dramatically the usability and maintenance, you will now be able to configure those settings in one place and they will be propagated to all InRelease Deployers.
